    No that isn't what you claimed. Obviously you didn't make that claim. Though it isn't unreasonable for someone to believe that is the impression you hoped to make.

    Early on you said something to the effect that because this rumor exists we have to take this into consideration when looking at other claims against Israel. Now in truth that would only be true if those claims came from the governor.

    The odd thing is that I agree with you, that we should be skeptical of claims against Israel, as we should be skeptical about claims that large percentages of Egyptians are running around believing Israel sent sharks after them.

    Once both you and Mathloom and others are calling each other disgusting liars, and trying to trap each other into making the more outrageous claim so you can each go "gottcha" then I'd rather not be involved anymore.

    You made the first exaggeration in this thread and with the thread title, so when others follow in suit it isn't surprising, but you are correct that you didn't claim most Egyptians believe it.

    In the future, once the thread devolves into this kind of name calling and back and forth, please don't try and drag me back into it.

    You fools are too thick to even realize that he was just trying to mock me with that post, which, of course, backfired.

    FranchiseBlade obviously had no reason to help me out here, as I had previously thrown some stuff at him, but even though he tried to wrap it into a lot of words, he was fair enough to confirm that I did not make that statement.

    The logical consequence is that Mathloom's statements were lies.

    It is also obvious that Mathloom was trying to be extra "clever" in this thread and that he was trying to trap me. When that did not work, he just went ahead and intentionally and maliciously misrepresented my statement.
