    OP is asking about egg donation....that's different than what we we're talking about. I'm not familiar with costs of getting a donor and the storage questions, though just like most things infertility related, I'd expect the cost is significant.

    Not sure where i gave off the trolldar, but gee wiz. 20k+ is insane. Why charge that much to folks that want a child? That's not right. Anyway, thanks for the info.

    I was going to suggest adopting as well. Unless u are determined that the child have your dna. it sounds like adopting (although expensive) would be less expensive in your case.

    Great. Start a family first, see how well you and your wife can do together. THEN have a child. Don't just "want a kid." :eek:
