There is a significant difference in the two at 20 though...

Rasheed Wallace was playing behind Chris Webber, and at the time a VERY good Juwan Howard.

EG is starting with his backups being Mo Taylor, and T Mo.

So the only real telling stat for Rasheed Wallace would of been his shooting percentage. All other numbers would of been lower due to who he was playing behind.

Rasheed Wallace averaged more minutes a game as a 20 year old than Eddie so your excuse is a load of crap. Rasheed is, always has and always will be a pethetic rebounder and shot blocker. Eddie is already better at both.

Dreamshake, I love you dude, but it should be "would have", not "would of". Just a little something that bothers me.

Having gotten that out of the way, I just wanted to say that we are absolutely nuts for having not traded Griffin for Shareef. Insane. Wacko. Touched in the head.

I just don't see the fascination with Griffin. His shot is just plain ugly and his defense is overrated.

Man I loved SAR's game when he was with the Grizz(Especially since he was so young, and I thought that he would continue to improve), but this guy seems to carry a losing bug. A stat-machine is the last thing we need.

And, Tyson Chandler is starting to look pretty good. Brand is good player, but this kid is drawing more of a KG comparison than anything else. I would hate for the Rockets to be one of those teams that trades a player loaded with potential, only to see him blossom into an all-star.

I believe that all of us are always getting older. Would you like to trade Francis for someone who has discovered the fountain of youth? Unless what you meant by that is that Francis is becoming old cuz if you are, then my GOD, this league is becoming way to infested w/ pre-college-graduates for it's own good. You now think a player Francis' age is "getting old"??? Twenty-five/six is NOT OLD!!! He's a good 3 or 4 years from the middle of his prime time, buddy.

BTW, I don't believe for a second that this happened, or at least that we're getting the full story. No organization is this stupid unless they had good reason. Maybe w/ Shareef signed (I believe he has a max deal?) they were afraid they couldn't re-sign Ming or something and they'd rather take their chances w/ Griffin if that's the case? I dunno, but it's not fair to be so harsh on the organization for something we know so little about.

This team has pulled off so many awesome deals in the past to bring us titles or to keep us in contention or to triple the average rebuilding speed, so have a little more faith...

Should we go after Sam Cassell as the Bucks will be looking to dump him after they resign Payton in the off season?

I think Cassell and S.F. in the backcourt would be AWESOME BABY!! I have always loved Sams game and his attitude on the court. He has fun and plays tough at the same time. The guy is absolutely clutch (as proven when he hit the game winning trey against N.Y. in the 93/94 finals).

I think Sam I Am would love to come back and play for Rudy. On the other hand, he probably has no interest in playing in the West after being in the much softer Eastern Confernence for the past 5 years...

Sam Cassell is an excellent shooter. But they are going to resign Payton? Can they resign both? They played pretty well together...combined for 38 points and 17 assists...Nice. That's pretty good...but they can't really defend the bigger guards.

    I WOULD LOVE SAM CASSELL!!!

What about comparing Eddie to a defensive player like Ben Wallace?

    B. Wallace's stats his first two years:
    PPG RPG BPG SPG APG
    1.1 1.7 .32 .24 .1
    3.1 4.8 1.07 .91 .3

I would prefer Eddie to develop into a dominant defensive player/enforcer like Ben Wallace instead of working on his offensive game. Just a thought....

Well I would LOVE to have Sam come off the bench. Maybe we could swap Moochie/filler for Sam?

I thought someone was saying that Sam's contract is only like 5mil per year over the next 3? Not bad at all.

Sam KNOWS how to feed the big man in the post. :)

I posted this elsewhere, but it belongs here: I wouldn't be surprised if the EG/Rice for SAR trade talk was withheld until the summer. Neither team wants to look like it's giving up on a player while they cling to playoff hopes (for the Hawks, no chance; for the Rox, definite maybe).

Im glad the rockets didn't give up on Eddie. He is going to get better with
time, the fans just have to be patient. When he starts to improve and play like the star that I know he can be, everybody's goin to be on his d!ck. Have some faith in his abilities.
