As much as I would love to see it happen I just don't think you will ever see Duncan in a Rockets jersey. We will not be able to sign him as a free agent since we will be over the salery cap and I just can't see S.A. trading him to us under any possible scenario.

As high as it sounded, he beat it. 6 blocks while only playing in the 1st and 3rd quarters!

I too think we can trade for Duncan, but I am worried that it might cost us Griffin.

Why would anyone trade for Duncan when his contract expires in 2 years. He'll be looking around and MIGHT come here.

SteveFrancis3, not a bad prediction, huh.;)

Well, you know the fad is sign and trade. For some reason teams don't want to let players go without getting something. Grant Hill was traded for Ben Wallace and Chuckie Atkins!! We gave Chicago some bull**** for Pippen to match the contract. I thought we could have let Anderson just walk, but the Rockets wanted to get something for him, and fegan wanted to get his client more money. You never get value when you trade a star except when Kidd and Marbury switched teams, but thats rare. As much of a ho Pippen was, look what we got for him and he was still considered an elite player.Look at what we gave up to get clyde a few yrs ago. Its just a chance for teams to get something for a player leaving. Thats why I think Cato and Taylor will be history.
