I know the season's just started, but given his injury history...I wouldn't wait around too long. Another 10 -12 games? Let teams see him, but get a deal done early on.

Was just thinking today that if he shows he's healthy and hits some 3s, he's boosting his trade value.

His value has never been higher. Also, watching him play I can see the craftiness and skills he’s developed over the years compared to our young guys. When Gordon came into the league he was strong and explosive but he’s so good at finishing below the rim now too. Good for our future stars to learn from him a bit more, and then give Ego a chance to get a ring

In spite of the hate he gets here, and not fitting the current roster direction, he's still a decent player, well rounded, and some team will be happy to have him. It just depends on what Stones asking price is. I always liked him, good teammate, good work ethic, Clyde Drexler consummate professional night in and night out award. Just very inconsistent at scoring, which is why he's a 6th man and not a starter.

He deserves to be on a team that’s playoff bound, instead of spinning his wheels here. As far as I’m concerned, Eric has earned it.

EG for Harden straight up, we need a pg who can create and get everyone involved... Brooklyn needs some better shooting production since Harden has gone cold...

Lots of teams could use EG.

He should have a pretty good market if he can stay healthy.

If Gsw want to get rid of Kuminga or Wiseman I'd be all on that.

For the record , it would take both of those players to match EG's salary.

$14.575m is the minimum outgoing salary for a team over the cap taking on EG's $18.2m.

I think they'll find a deal for him after the moratorium is over in mid December .... but it won't be easy.

EG is the type of player pursued during the trade deadline arms race so he'll probably be here a while, which is unfortunate because Sniper needs those minutes :D

Trade Gordon, but we need a veteran that can be a role model that won't let the young'uns get in trouble. Tyson Chandler? Luis Scola? Joe Johnson? Anyone from the Big 3 League?

On the one hand I want to get Gordon to a contender and understand the need for a future asset. However, good God is it going to be a hit to the already terrible offense when he leaves.

@Codman mentioned that the Rockets are going to try and move him between 7-10 games into the season (which would be around now) to maximize his value. Everything is pointing towards an "Eric Gordon Appreciation Thread" coming soon.
