Don't misunderstand my complaint. I'm not faulting the news organization for reporting it. I think that is perfectly commendable. I'm reproaching DonkeyMagic for belittling the story of secret prisons with this one, as if secret prisons were small-time stuff compared to Taliban trying to use kids as bombs. So, I'm talking about where the center of discourse should lie, not about what reporting we should allow.

 

i wasnt belittleing the story actually, i was making the point, one that you somewhat made, that some people dont care about atrocities done by others. Rather they focus on america and even more accurately the current administration for their own political purposes
