Yeah it was denied almost immediately by Spicey which brought up the idea it was a plant to find a leak. The other theory is it was a gauge, but I don't believe that. To @ipaman this is not fake news. It's real news about a draft DHS memo. Fake news would be if the AP created this memo as a means to sell clicks.
Best way to stop illegal migration IMO is to punish those who hire them and pay them under the table.

I would agree that could be an effective method, but then people would complain about how you were making families starve to death or whatever. There's not really a happy way to deal with this so that's why I'd prefer just truly sealing the southern border and then giving those here a path to citizenship so that it's not millions of people when you really crack down on it. If you stop those from flowing in and give those here a chance to gain legal status then you can go after businesses that hire illegals and deport any new illegals without being completely heartless about the plight of millions in the country.
