Eddie the Eraser sounds nice... Sniper just sounds totally ridiculous. Nicknames should have some sort of ring to em, Eddie "the sniper" doesnt have any sort of flow to it.

Nero, I liked your skit. Pretty spot-on, I'd say. I don't know if The Boss works. He isn't Springsteen. And on his off nights (he's sure to have some, being so young), opposing players will just get in his face with, "'The Boss?' 'The Boss?' How about 'The B!tch?' Cause that's what you are, I made you my B!tch, my three-dollar Bee-Yoooooootch!" I kinda like Sniper. He's quiet, deadly (and "Sniper" is better than "S.B.D.") The Big Chill is my favorite so far. How about Stiletto? Long, thin, sharp, deadly...?
I vote for "The Example". Eddie plays the game hard without all the trash talking etc, like he did when Amare talked to him in the Summer Pro League game.
