    NCAA Football drame...lols

If you're following the story, a "5-star" DL recruit signed a letter of intent and is trying to get out of it to sign with another college.

Is this a bad precedent for NCAA recruiting if it is allowed to happen without missing a year of eligibility? I'm also curious how common this is. Does it happen in basketball?

I'm biased a little because it involved Notre Dame, but I don't really care too much because NCAA football is not high on my list of sports. Honestly curious what you NCAA football fans think.

Here's a good explanation at UCLA fan site about the rules and what we know to date.

Thanks for the update, J.R.. I guess if a student is willing to give up a year of eligible then he can do whatever he wants.
