The Bulls are interested in Eddie as well. Since they got more cap room and no one to spend it on, they'll probably dish out the $36 million for him.

$36 million for an unproven talent, sounds crazy...but then again, the Rockets offered $42 million over six to Cato.

I think Eddie Robinson has the tools to be a pretty good player, with practice and focus that is. I don't think he is going to be a superstar, but a pretty good player. Definitely I would love to have him on the Rockets, his athleticism would help greatly, especially on the defensive end. I don't buy into what Robert Horry did to Webber, because it was the same situation when he defended Barkley. Barkley had a bad back and bad knee, Webber had two bad ankles. Not taking anything away from Horry because he played tremendous defense, but the Webber thing was kind of clouded because of Webber's injuries.

It's nice to see someone that does their homework to back up their opinion with facts instead of BS. I know Heyp will not want him because he would beat out Langhi and Heyp would lose his bet.

I would not take Coleman over Cato. Coleman is overweight and gets paid alot more than Cato, not to mention he's a cancer. Let him rot away his career in Charlotte.

Robinson is NOT an underachiever. He was undrafted and played his way into the league. He has strengths, but shooting is not one of them. His contract demands are extreme. Who can blame him? He'll settle for less.

Maybe that's why the draft preceeds the FA period. To quell some of the ridiculous contract demands by non-marquee players.

Let me give you some FACTS on ER as well as Shandon and Walt. Eddie led the NCAA Div II in scoring with 28 ppg while in school. He scored 30 or more 9x, 40 or more 4x, and even 52 once. Despite all that he was not selected in the 1999 draft, but signed with the Hornets as a FA

Putting up numbers in college (especially Div. II) doesn't meam much in the NBA. Kurt Thomas let NCAA Division I in both scoring (28.9) and rebounding (14.6).

If it's an unproven bench player with athleticism you want, why not someone like Wallace or Morris who also have athleticism, but would not cost near as much and have a much greater upside?

And he was third in "Ugly," but did not place in the "Congeniality" category.
