january 16 10:45 pm: rick bucher was on an espn radio show tonight and was talking about his latest article for the magazine ( i assume espn magazine) that comes out next tuesday about the whole eddie griffin situation where he talked to all the people involved. He said it is a very bad situation and that it's not just a case of some young punk being a jerk-----or something like that. i am paraphrasing the best i can under my current state. it's friday night--gimme a break! anyway, it will be nice to see what the "real story" is. i didn't want to start up a new thread, so i added it to this old one so some a-hole wouldn't be all, "you started a new thread for this...(whinning, and moaning sounds)...gaaaawww."
It was on ESPN.com a few weeks ago; the criminal indictment says that Eddie was hooking up with some other chick when his nutty ex girlfriend busted in on him, so he beat her up and started shooting at her. What a great kid, I wish him the best.
