Actually, I was thinking he'd be a ain part of a slightly larger deal, since Griffin for Snow doesn't work salary-wise anyway.

I was thinking that since Ayers is using Iverson more and more at the point, maybe the Sixers would be interested in Mobley and Griffin for Snow and a throw in type thing.

Then again, everything changed for both teams, Griffin got more screwed up, and Mobley has actually been great. So I wouldn't make that trade right now.

Mobley has been good so far this year. I wouldn't want to trade him right now.

I wish we could have gotten something for Eddie, but whatever. It's all over.

Not true. According to Feigen (I think it was him anyway), no attractive offers were made. He said all that were offered were players the Rockets didn't want or players with long-term contracts that would handicap our salary cap position -- and we can't be talking about serious albatrosses that a team would do anything to get rid of because Eddie doesn't make that much. So, I think he does have a small value, just not enough to make a trade worthwhile for the Rockets.

It's difficult to believe that we couldn't even work up something liek Griffin for Ollie, or Travis Best, or Jamal Tinsley, or even Charlie Ward or something.

I guess teams knew that we'd be forced to cut him, and would rather bid on him once he clears waivers and stuff.
