Eddie Griffin should start the rest of the season, yes even over KT

I dropped it in another thread, but what about Thomas and Williams for Othello? I think we'll be doing each other a favor. 1 we'll give them cap room after the yr and 2 we'll free up 2 positions for our young players. Othella was playing pretty good when he was here , plus he plays hard all the time. Anyone care to chime in?

 

How soon we forget. All this talk of starting Eddie at the 3 guard. Torres goes out with injury for 2 games and people are already giving out his job to someone else. Remember him getting in the teens and even the twenties in scoring consistently. Remember him playing great D on a regular basis. Remember him coming off the picks and nailing Js everywhere!!! Remember us drooling on the elevation on his jumpshots.

Come on people, lets not get greedy here. Yes, I agree that EG has kicked ass lately. But in the beginning of the seoson there were games when Eddie wouldnt even play, or play like 5 minutes here and there. Now because of him kicking ass, he will get more minutes. We should be happy with that.

I mean, Rudy is not a dumb coach. If KT starts to stink up the joint in the first quarter, Rudy will immediately go to Eddie. And also, if both do good, who doesnt agree with me that Rudy will certainly go with a small frontline of KT, EG, and Toress.

But if we dont want to forget about the playoffs, I think KT shoud still start over Eddie at the 4. And no way anyone is taking the 3 spot from Torres. He deserves it. As for now. Eddie can be our sparkplug off the bench. And if he has the shot falling, he will get minutes in the fouth. Just because he doesnt start doesnt mean he wont get minutes or that he wont contribute.
