no prob, just wanted to mention, they showed him shooting jumpshots, and didnt look like old footage. They said it was an "exclusive" interview on how he wanted to make a comeback.

Griffen couldn't shoot if his life depended on it, though neither can Cato.

We spent 3 first round draft picks on this man, if he makes a comeback and does not sign with the rockets boo him every chance you get. If JVG don't want him, fire JVG because that would be stupid

Thanks for the heads up Dave.

He's working out with John Lucas and staying at a half-way house working on his problems.

One specific quote I caught... his message to the league: "Y'all need to pick me up 'cause I'm gonna be a monster when I get back in there."

Most words I've seen him string together in awhile.

His message to the NBA: "Yall better pick me up, because I'm gonna be a monster when I get back out there."

He wants to join a summer squad somewhere; I wouldn't be averse to picking him up over the summer to get an idea where his head is, but I think he'll never put on a Rocket jersey again.

Ha I think he also looks like MLK.

    Basic review:

He is now working with John Lucas to get his life together here in Houston. They showed him during a workout with Lucas along with others. They asked what Griffin what he wanted to say to other teams in the NBA and he said something along the lines of

"Yall better pick me up because when i come back I am going to be a monster!"

They later mention that Lucas gets calls from a few teams everyday to check up on how he is doing at the moment.

I personally loved Griffin, hell I have his jersey still and never did anything to it. Loved his game, and just needed a few more years to develop. He is just one of the examples why he shouldnt have left early.

Just saw the news segment. Actually- Eddie said he's gonna be a "Monster" not "master" when he gets back. I have met Eddie before and he really seems like a good guy. Just someone who didn't know how to handle all the pressure of being an NBA pro.

I know he never quite fit in perfectly here in the past, but I for one wouldn't mind giving him a chance to make the Rocket's squad again. He isn't the best shooter (but he does have some range). he's got hops and he is a great blocker and rebounder, which imho is a better combination that anyone else we have at the spot.

Plus, a guy named Eddie can't be too bad! LOL

Also, he sounded determined to make it back. I hope he gets it together for his sake.

I also hope he would give the Rockets the first opportunity to sign him back just out of respect for what he cost them already.

I wonder what his feelings are toward the Rockets

    Similar to KT's?

Like the team betrayed/did not have his back?

Heck yeah he's determined. Any guy who is voluntarily staying at a half-way house each night instead of at his nice MTV NBA Balla crib is definitely serious about this come-back.
