All the "fans" need to read this several times. Fans tend to think that they own these guys because they shell out cash to watch them. I feel that fans don't need to know these things. I am upset that this kind of information is leaked out. I want everyone to remember a coach(Rudy) who went to jail several years ago for "Driving under the Influence". I guess that is o.k. since Rudy isnt a "thug". I am upset he had it in public, poor judgement. If he wants to smoke in the privacy of his own home AFTER a game, go for it, yet he was leaving the compaq center right after the win against Orlando last night. When you boil it all down it is really nobodies business what he , you , or I do in private. That is why we live in a "Free" country right? "Before you accuse me, take a look at yourself..."
Eddie, shame on you to have gotten caught in public. If you are gonna smoke, smoke at home or at Mo's house. Having said that, pot should be legalized. Or tobacco and alcohol should be made illegal. It just gets me how some people could be sipping on alcohol and sucking on nicotine and talking about how "dangerous" pot is. As for pot is bad for basketball, uhh, maybe, but not even close to what a hangover will do to your game. As I have said in another thread, many people swears that it helps their game. To all the kids reading this: Stay away from pot, it is illegal. Stay away from alcohol and nicotine, they are bad for you. If rudy smoked pot instead of drinking..., get well soon rudy.

Thanks a lot. I was merely pointing out that the argument "He must've been smoking while behind the wheel 'coz he got caught" was specious. There are many reasons ("DWB" being a common one) for a person not breaking any other laws to be pulled over.

What I know is that if you choose to be a high profile pro athelete, your life is no longer private to yourself. This is one sacrafice they have to make in order to make those big bucks. For most of people, to have a good conduct in the eyes of the public is not that difficult to do. I know your point, but the human society doesnt work that way, my friend. You and your wife have a fight, the next thing you know is that all your neighbour are not as nice to you as before.

Eddie was Released Just want it to be fair with the poor guy. He was released from jail Monday after posting $500 bond.
