Waa waa waa... Oh sure... I feel sorry for Eddie. I have lots of sympathy for poor little multi-millionaire. boo-f**kin'-hoo -- droxford
Yeah...It's a shame that Eddie did it, and got caught, but there is no way that he and Mo are the only pot-smokers on the team. Many of your average, everyday Americans smoke pot...These guys have more money and a job that gives them at least a day off every week...There are definitely more than two pot-smokers on the team. It's a shame, but I can all but guarantee it.
AARRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHH!!!! as if the new on eddie wasn't bad enough... they... they... argh!!!... just had to do this: http://www.ctv.ca/servlet/HTMLTemplate/!ctvShows/Shows/Evening/pent_canadianidol.html
Damn... and right after he had solidly broken through the 40% FG% barrier. Still, I think a lot of you are overreacting and hating a little too much. You have any idea what portion of people his age smoke pot? That doesn't make it alright, but I'm just saying that he's not like a complete thug in need of serious help or anything. It's not even a crime in my opinion, just a bad idea.
News Flash... Reports of ex-player coaches like Larry Brown, Doug Collins, Pat Riley, Isaih Thomas, Dennis Johnson, Phil Jackson, Rick Adelman, Lenny Wilkens, might have smoked pot in the 60's,70's,or 80's. Kareem Abdul Jabbar claims he was framed when he was busted with weed. Kareem now crazed maniac...(oops, that was Kareem calling NCAA tournament games LAST MONTH!!!) Bill Walton testifies, "I didnt inhale"...(oops, that was Bill Clinton.) Seriously folks, who out there is so naive to think that weed wasn't a part in all of these peoples lives at one time or another. If Eddie was found with a crack pipe and was missing games(see Maddox) then I would be worried . There are too many people blowing this out of proportion. Reality is where I am living, where are you? This is not a perfect world nor would I want it to be, but all these people calling for him to be traded, or booed, are in a distorted reality that is no where close to the real world(and I am not thinkin MTV).
Rich people lose family and friends. Poor people lose 'em, too. Nothing special about Eddie Spliffin' there. -- droxford
Yes, and we should feel sympathy for them when it happens, and sympathy for how it tears them up inside. Just because a person is rich doesn't mean you can't feel sympathy for them for losing a family member, especially one so young. Which is what your idiotic post implied.
Go to Harvard, Princeton, Dartmouth, or any of the other ivey league schools and you will see that about 40% of the kids smoke weed. Not that it makes it right, but its something that happens. No need to overreact. I just think Eddie's timing was bad. But, when this ordeal is over with, its really nothing big at all.
Dude, do you have any idea how horrible you sound? Smoking pot may not be bright, but it's not evil. Evil is thinking that someone shouldn't care about dead relatives. That's basically what you were implying Eddie should be doing. You need to back the hell off.
There is nothing really wrong with weed, but i dont think it has any place in athletes lives when they should be giving 100%
didnt he get caught for POSESSION of weed... my friend doesnt smoke it, he sells it.. i'm dissappointed that it happened to Eddie at this time, but me being from where i am i know people who got caught for POSSESSION when they never smoked in their life.. hanging around the wrong friends is a good cause for this. i had a dime in my back pocket one time and i didnt know how it got there til i asked my friend don't jump to conclusions just be glad it wasnt worse.
innocent until proven guilty right? I hope that is the case, but for whatever reason I seriously doubt it. Not in the age in which we live. I have known too many instances where people were accused of something they had no part in, but the evidence in this matter heavily implies otherwise.
FORTY percent? Probably about 4 percent...but maybe at Dartmouth...forty-four percent. Eddie. You could have been busted in the summer instead of now. I feel sorry for you...but you shouldn't have done it. You make too much money. Good luck to you.
Maybe you went to A&M or TSU or some college in Miami or in the ghetto. But Harvard University. Maybe 39% but definitely not 40%.
