Careful. Bringing facts into the argument will most definitely piss some people off...

Not from where I sit although to compare McLane to McMullen is the height of stupidity. McLane is NOWHERE the A$$H**E that McMullen was. Look I grew up with the Astros. As a kid I went to their games at the old Buffalo Stadium on South Main. I would sneak a portable radio in my room and listen to Astros games under the covers. I thought nothing would ever make me lose faith in the Astros but that was before the Astros and their fans got royally screwed over by a sneering, laughing John McMullen and I haven't felt the same way about the Astros ever again. There is NO way McLane is even close to being the b*stard McMullen was as owner. Now he may be a baseball dumbass for what he's done the past 5 years but that's about it.

Just a random observation.. I think the most of the Astros fans that routinely post on this board are some of the more level-headed, logical, and open-minded fans. (Compared to the *overall* group of Rockets fans here, where we have that same type of group, along with people at both ends of the spectrum with respect to being closed-minded or unwilling to listen to other viewpoints)

It's probably because it's a baseball subtopic on a basketball board, so the population is smaller. But I enjoy it.
