There's some other videos floating of him manhandling several Niners' players (Floyd & Kinlaw) + stoning Eagles' Carter (edit: posted above by @zeeshan2 ) - but these guys wouldn't be in the NFL if they didn't get some wins (I am guessing).
They got a 6th round pick next year when we have 2 of them. We got CJ Garner Johnson for ours… I was spitting on Caserio’s name last year and then all of the sudden Danielle Hunter and Joe Mixon.. I’m still gonna wait.
Not sure why every move needs to be a home run. Caserio does a lot of Morey type low risk moves. I’m sure he and the coaches did more homework on the guy besides looking up PFF rating and reviewing twitter lowlights.
He stinks and no amount of Texans twitter influencers gaslighting is going to work. Spoiler ”well it’s just a 6th” “Well it’s just a depth piece” “Well he’s just Kendrick Green’s replacement” https://www.houstonchronicle.com/sports/texans/article/ed-ingram-guard-things-to-know-20220088.php Ingram struggled as a rookie, allowing the most sacks (11) and pressures (63) among NFL guards per Pro Football Focus. His play got better in Year 2 as he dropped those numbers to five sacks and 42 pressures, but he still needed to improve. Instead, he took a step backward, giving up five sacks and allowing 24 pressures in nine games. After an early November win over the Jacksonville Jaguars, the Vikings decided they had seen enough and benched him. He did not see a single offensive snap the rest of the season.
So the Vikings benched him and traded him to us for little to nothing after a terrible season. I have zero faith in this organization to identify and develop OL talent. I seriously doubt they are going to take a struggling G and improve him or they would have just kept Green.
They should have restructured and extended Hunter and restructured whoever else to create the cap space and signed a real proven OG. The time is now, right now before CJ and WAJ get their extensions to push all the chips in. If the OL is still trash this year it’s on Nick.
Gotta love having no money for the top shelf, and searching through the bargain bin for offensive linemen. CJ better be practicing that quick release the next few months.
This makes NO SENSE. I can see the Laken Tomlinson move as someone Cap has experience with and played at a high level before, but this is literally taking Minny's version of our own underachiever and hoping new scenery makes a difference. Not in favor of this approach at all, but I'm just a fan.
