Jimmy Butler totally takes his teammates out of the game. Then he will walk off the court disgusted because they didn't contribute.
Wow, just looking at the box score JJ Reddick is a big 1 fer. Gotta be tough when your starting SG only scores 3 points in 31 minutes. That's beyond pathetic. And a lot of folks hero's on this board, James Ellis III was a big 0 fer. Looks like philly just got an all around ass whoppin.
Embiid is sick more often than an antivaxxer working in a cholera ward. Either he smokes crack or his PED regimen needs to be adjusted.
Much respect to Kawhi, dude is the most unfairly hated on player after Harden. He is a straight up baller, best two way player in the league imo and way better than KD when fully healthy. Raptors suddenly looking great, Siakam looks like a superstar and if Kawhi stays they are gonna be a title contender if they get rid of Lowry and their terrible bench. Too bad despite all the positive stuff pretty Kawhi will still leave. Too many glamor teams available for him to choose from including LA and NY. Hell even Boston might dump assets to get both him and AD in the same team.
Defensively he is. Offensively he isn't much better than Durant. Durant can playmake a little, Kawhi does not have this ability. Kawhi is not the jumpshooter KD is. He had 21 pts last game......and he is playing in the weaker East now. If KD had 21 pts, it would be close to a bad game. Kawhi didn't have that kind of a series against Orlando.
He quit on his team. I am surprised he doesn't get more hate. I just think people don't care about him. Lebron and Durant left as FA. He refused to play for the spurs.
Spurs medical staff let Danny Green play last season with a groin tear that went undetected. Maybe the Spurs med. staff did botch the Kawhi situation?
Obviously, Duncan. Embiid can be naive with his passion to get the crowd involved. Duncan is The Big Fundamental, won five rings, under coach Popovich philosophy development and mastered his game playing along side with David Robinson. No brainer, who I would pick. Plus Duncan played over three generations('97-'16), might as well mention the character, personality, leadership the person he shows with the Spurs culture is nothing short of being a near Hall of Famer. Ask me in 15 years, and I probably still say, Tim Duncan.
Ben Simmons is a such a nothing burger. Some of us knew he was going to be no better than a taller more athletic Lonzo. You can't roll with non-shooters in this era of basketball.
I keep trying to tell people. In this day of MAX points..you need players who can shoot. Otherwise you hit your ceiling, quick. Imagine if Westbrook was a better shooter. Simmons, Lonzo...the flashy passing will get old when teams leave you wide open. This is also why I am not big on Zion. Greek freak also needs to start shooting better.
I didn't know that Embiid was drinking 4 cream and cookies milkshakes before every roadtrip. He apparently has a horrible diet. It is fine if he was still a teenager but now he's 25 with bad knees and back and is out of shape. He also went out clubbing all night long during the POs before he fell sick.
Butler the truth. For Butler to be leading a team that he got ttraded to shows the skills. Butler been in Philly less than six months. They having alot of success with a new player only been in town for six monthes.
Noone is watching? Everytime Gasol bites on Embiid's pumpfake this game..so frustrating! Anyway I'm supporting Philly tonight to get it to 7, but to be honest both teams suck.
