OR... it's possible Harden just maybe wanted to reach the mountain top and win the championship for once in his long storied career. Just maybe, he wasn't so focus on individual acknowledgement and seeking instead team success thus choosing to join a "Super Team" as his preferred destination. IMO I dont think personal/individual glory was his main priority... was it a factor... most definitely, but I doubt he would choose it over the teams success... that would be pretty petty and selfish and I wouldn't want to ascribe that to anyone so casually.
For the Nets this was a big win since they lost Harden and still won, huge for their confidence going forward especially if they get news he can return soon. For the Bucks, the only good thing is that they lost 1 road game in which they shot absolutely terribly. I'm not sure they can play much worse/ If they get a split then it's still mission accomplished.
let it sting giannis. next year lose again and then.... the rockets get their pick. without giannas by that point the team could be pretty bad
And that is an example of refs not understanding how to call picks/screens. I honestly think that whole rule and ref philosophy should be reworked this off season.
Bucks have waived the white flag embarrassing performance from them tonight if they actually lose this, then Giannis is a joke
He was until just recently. That 2017-2018 Rockets team Was also a championship team, I don’t need to read your butt hurt views please
People been sleeping on Harris. Dude has been the best 3 point shooter the last 2 seasons if you're talking about volume and efficiency. I'd leave anyone else open on the 3 point line (spotting up) before I'd leave Harris... Yes that includes KD.
With harden it’s just unfair. Without harden it’s somewhat of a challenge. Bucks really couldn’t take advantage lol
I really don't understand everyones hate for Giannis. He is only 26. Maybe he was crowned a bit too early. But even Harden at 26 was on a hapless Rockets with disappointing playoffs under McHale with Howard before he truly elevated his game with Dantoni and more versatility. Giannis has more than enough time to get better. I know his 3 point shooting is still bad compared to rest of the league but it light years from where he was even 2 seasons ago when he looked more like Ben Simmons.
2 X champion. 2 X Finals MVP. The last 3 years ain’t gonna change my mind especially when Durant didn’t even play in one of those years. Furthermore you’d never see Durant disappear or struggle like Harden has in playoff games. KD has always been better than Harden. Only the most hardcore Harden fanbois believe otherwise.
