This series giving me deja-vu of the Mavs clippers 1st rounder. Mavs take surprising 3-2 lead only to lose two in a row.
Not sure where the general public or media is hating or not giving Trae his credit. Trae has gotten a ton of love and credit for his performance this postseason. He's converted his biggest critics like bill Simmons, koc and others who only months earlier would rather havela melo and sexton. Steven A and the other ESPN personalities have been singing his praises the past two series. And well deserved.
Trae and Embid both smartly drawing/flopping for free throws. It's the correct call and smart play, but NBA needs to change next season and not call these as fouls.
Hawks playing well with a ton of fight and intensity. But they aren't going to win this if Trae continues to shoot worst than elimination game Harden.
Embid sometimes get tired by Q3/Q4 rolls around. Wondering if he's pacing himself. He has that small right meniscus tear, by him keep playing he could make that tear worse. Possibly giving himself arthritis after he retires. Usually need things like rest. If the 76ers don't make it next round, it can be looked at as a blessing, as he won't be endangering that knee next round. Still a close game.
Me picking 76ers is more of a pick then rooting. Kind of neutral on both teams. Honestly with Nets out; my interest in the playoffs have waned.
How is Philly falling asleep on defense so much? That's like 3 times this quarter that ATL has just sneaked in the backdoor for an easy duece
ah gotcha. I thought philly would win, but it was close. Don't trust their offense. Entering the 4th trailing with Trae shooting like crap is not making me feel confident.
Hawks look really good. If they get past Philly, they really are the better team. Between Capela/Collins or Embid/dwight, who do you think has a better chance against the Giannis?
