Embarrassing effort by Boston. Milwaukee is clearly the better team, but the Celtics barely even showed up tonight.
I’ll reserve judgement for when the Bucks play the Raptors. As of now they’re still a big unknown. Also this Celtics team is the most miserable collection of talent I’ve seen since the last year Dwight was here.
Kyrie Irving is a cancer that has infected every part of this otherwise talented team. Danny Ainge has to drop him in the offseason and move on with the pieces he has on this roster. Let the Knicks and Dolan deal with this gutless drama queen.
Honestly I hate the Celtics more than I support the Bucks. Eliminating them here is amazing, but going down in such an embarassing humiliating fashion is ecstatic.
so is brad stevens as good of a coach as he may perceived to be? or is this a players thing? going from blowing out the bucks in game 1 to losing 4 straight including 2 at home is pretty bad.
TNT announcers boring and blah af. I wonder if that's how other viewers see the commenting when we play
Alot of Questions Heartless team Kyrie already checked out . .. cause tonight he chucked out Is Brad still a super coach? Do you pay Tatum . . . . brown? Rocket River
Wow, when you get whipped like this you have to think you don't have a chance for a championship in a long long time. Kyrie is a freakin headcase...they need to move on from that dude.
Managing egos is the single most important job of an NBA coach. Stevens is an exceptional coach, but it's clear this team was littered with locker room issues. Too many guys wanting theirs, not enough guys working towards a common goal and doing whatever they can to help. I don't think Kyrie is entirely to blame for this, but he was a big f**king part of it.
I still think he's top 5. When you have: 1. A super diva trying to be an alpha dog when he's clearly a 2nd banana at best 2. A player coming back from a gruesome injury that you have to play 3. A front office that more or less made it known that everyone is on the table this summer to be included in a trade for AD, including the young kids that got your team to the ECF without #1 It's a recipe for disaster.
The only decent crew they have, in my opinion, is the one with Van Gundy. They should give Jeff a raise and talk him into doing more games.
I love to see guys like Budenholzer and Malone show great success after being let go by such awful franchises. I know that the Bucks have a really good roster, but Bud has still done one hell of a job with these guys. As for the Celtics, it's a shame to see them go out like that. I'm a huge Brad Stevens fan but at some point he let the team's identity get away from him and he never got it back. My guess is that Irving leaves this summer and the Celtics are a much stronger team next year.
yeah there was for sure a ton on the plate to deal with. its going to be interesting to see how the boston offseason plays out. at the beginning of the year I thought the chances of kyrie staying in boston would be pretty good given the situation. seeing them now throughout the year and the ups and downs, boy is he as good as gone
