This Atl team is fun to watch. Hope they keep this core together for more runs

 

Capela looks stronger defensively in the paint than with Us. The scheme is better

 

People always talk about star players that struggle in the playoffs...name whoever...but Randle man...he looks shooketh....

 

Will be interesting what happens with Collins (RFA) this offseason, but with or without him they are very talented, young and entertaining. Trae, Bogd, Capella, Hunter is a nice core that should only get better.

The Knicks on the other hand looks like an overmatched and old team. Which IMO was pretty obvious after the first couple games. Rose and Taj are keeping them barely competitive thus far and while they are great veterans/role players to have on a team, they aren't and shouldn't be the best players on a playoff team. Randle was a star in the regular season, but he's clearly NOT a star.

 

I was wrong about the Knicks...Idc how crazy MSG gets, I don’t want to see them in the 2nd round now...they can’t score or do anything on offense really...Julius Randle should be ashamed of himself playing like this

this is shaping up to be the worst high volume offensive production from a player in NBA postseason history

I wouldn’t be surprised if he gets booed in game 5 once the bricks begin

 

they haven’t showed Spike Lee in a while lol

 

Hawks do have a good squad.
Having Sweet Lou in the second unit is looking amazing.
Knick's defense looks discombobulated . . ..
Alot of movement bluster and activity but the Hawks are picking them apart.

Trae not even on the court and the Knicks are getting busted up
Their Offense is vintage Thibbs . .. .
If they did not have Derek Rose . .. they would be getting blown out by 30

I'm just glad NY came crashing back to earth... The ESPN media was outta control talking about basketball is back cause NY in the postseason.... Unfortunately now they'll go overboard with what FAs coming next few years.

 

I wanted to see Embiid vs the MSG crowd...I really enjoy watching playoff games at MSG, but these Knicks are vintage Thibs on the offensive end, and Julius Randle has morphed into Pistons Josh Smith right before the amnesty...I actually feel sorry for Randle at this point, nobody will care that he won MIP and was genuinely very good this year because he’s gotten completely exposed

 

Trae Young just toying with these dudes...perimeter players run this league which is why I’m not trying to hear about Mobley in a Rockets jersey

been reading what Knicks fans been saying on RealGM, and their consensus is yes

not attacking Trae Young defensively, leaving Bullock on him to get cooked time and time again, keep going to Randle in isolation even tho he’s playing like a scrub, etc

 

The Knicks absolutely HAVE TO Over pay Randle.
They *HAVE* to Max him . . . . .
If they don't someone will . . . . If they don't . .. They maybe One and Done on playoffs . . .

Randle is a nice player, probably best suited to be your 2nd or 3rd option though.

I think he's a fringe all-star type of player. A guy that will get on all-star teams occasionally, every now and then, but not a consistently dominant player. That's nice to have I guess.

Luckily for the Knicks, they play in NY and this season probably goes a long way for them when it comes to courting an actual star.
