I am not a stan for any player and I liked the Green pick over Mobley, but man, the kid is a second-year player, cut him some slack.

It is pretty funny about Bill Simmons though, always love seeing him in tatters

Amazingly, it was still a better deal than what the T-Wolves gave for Gobert. Utah made out on those two deals.

The Timberwolves will send Malik Beasley, Patrick Beverley, Jarred Vanderbilt, Leandro Bolmaro, No. 22 pick Walker Kessler and four first-round picks to the Jazz, sources said. Utah will acquire unprotected picks in 2023, 2025 and 2027 and a top-five-protected pick in 2029, sources said, in Danny Ainge's first franchise-altering deal since taking over as the Jazz's CEO midseason.

The New York Knicks averaged a 117 Offensive Rating in the regular season - 3rd in the NBA.

vs Cleveland that dropped to 107 - 14th out of 16 playoff teams.

But sure let's pretend like it was the Cavaliers defense and particularly their interior defenders that let them down, because.... Bobby the great is a bbs jackass?

Never seen a more "run it back" team. They're just young, need more playoff experience. They'll probably shuffle some bench pieces, but no reason to do anything drastic.

Brewer is a career 28% 3pt shooter. Mobley is 23% for 2 seasons.

I think Mobley will surprise us but it usually takes him a lot longer.

Houston not selecting him was probably right because they are not patient enough here and the development is average.

Playing two non-shooting bigs is a sure way to ruin your spacing in the playoffs.

Mobley has been consistently good right off the gate. That's why he is touted as the best of his class. But he has not improved much in his second season.

Some say he is sacrificing his offensive game for the good of the team. I don't buy that. Sure, he might not be one of the first options for the good of the team. But developing a good outside shot would only help the team even if you are the fourth option.

I have not followed him as closely.

He is good but is he Wemby, Paolo or even Cade? I do not know but less likely.

I think we all talk more about him and Green because they are on the opposite spectrum of Defense and Offense.

And he could have been the 2nd pick.

I don’t think Donavan Mitchell is an all star player. He’s like the Andrew Wiggins type to me, needs to be around 2 all stars (or players better than him) to play well. I wonder when the time will come when he’ll have to do that, like how Wiggins was able to do with the Warriors.

Mitchell is not their problem--he is a great player. Don't be surprised if he scores 30 next season. They just need some of the younger guys like Garland and Mobley to keep getting better and the whole roster needs to get more playoff experience.

Just came in to say: it's amazing that JBB hasn't learned a damn thing since he left the Rockets. That offense was as amateur as the offense he created for us. They didn't know who was leading the offense.

Defensively as well, the organization is so dumb to go into the playoffs with their best wing defender being CARIS LEVERT? The two defensive guards are Mitchell and Garland? Absurd. Totally absurd. Someone should get fired.

He's the 5th best prospect in his class behind Cade, Jalen, Franz and Scottie. Bigs are a dime a dozen you can gamble in the later rounds and get one that can do what Mobley does. Capela, Bam, Giannis, Kessler....

Wings and guards run the league. You don't draft a defensive stiff over them.

Like Bari he was advertised as a switchable and you know very mobile defender.

That stiffness is probably why JBB is not perfect at coaching.

They have to figure something out how to use bigs offensively a lot more and install a good offensive SF.

Definitely not fluid in crunch time.

I thought JB got better as a coach but damn that was a terrible showing by him this series.

If I'm the Cavs though I don't overreact just try and get a good wing to fill that hole at the 3 spot and maybe consider going one big with more shooting? They prob need a better coach.

Allen just looks like a guy with some stanky breath lol.
