What the crap was that ending?

If dipo made even a couple more buckets they would have won

How was that a hostile act by lance?

He grabbed the ball and held on extremely firmly and was tossed to the ground but never let go. Then got pushed in the stomach.

    Clearly he was acting hostile

not sure how jeff green could get tied up instead of draw a foul.

not sure how the refs called a foul.

not sure how lance doesn't get double T'd in every game.

not sure how webber and marv didn't know what was going on sitting at the announcer's table and i did barely overhearing ref conversations on tv.

lebron did finally get going at the end of the game and 4th korver was huge.

it wasn't, they just called a regular foul instead of a jump ball.

Lebron looks so chill out there. Almost like he doesn’t care at times. He’ll be in Houston next year.

    All game long.

Oladipo could’ve easily got about 10 more FTs but lebron had to win. NBA at its finest

But it wasn’t even a foul?

To really hammer home the bs of it, literally the same exact play happened earlier in the game with lance and lebron resulting in a jump.

To call it a jump on the floor, go review it, and then decide nah it’s a foul on lance???

    Asinine officiating

If that is what happened, it blows my mind. Since when can a common foul be called as the result of a replay review?

I love Lance Stephenson. He plays hard. He is a character. Goes all out. Does goofy things. He has been one of my NBA favorites since he "blew" on LeBron. Pacers had this one, let it slip away.

They called a foul on the floor and a second official called jump ball. Upon review they confirmed a foul

Ok so I did some reading over at r/nba

Apparently Webber and the tnt is the cause for all the confusion.

    One ref called jumpball.
    One ref called foul.
Foul takes precedence over a jumpball.
They reviewed for hostile acts and found none.
It was never going to be a jumpball.
It was a foul call all along.

TNT and Webber specifically are really bad at their jobs.

i can't tell you what the refs were thinking, but as soon as the play happened i saw a ref call a foul and one i couldn't see call a jump ball. a highlight from boston/milwaukee (game 2?) showed giannis foul out on a situation where one ref called a foul and one called a jump ball and they said the foul took precedence. i had never heard of this rule but as soon as the lance/green play happened i thought of it and thought it might be a foul. i thought it was all ball, but one ref called foul initially so i guess that's a foul based on the rules.

as for the hostile act, i didn't see anything. green barely shoved stephenson after getting rolled on so that would be a pretty ridiculous technical with 9 seconds left in a playoff game.

Was a foul and the ref below the board signalled a closed fist. I did not see the other ref.

As to why it's a foul, Lance's arm clearly hooked Green's head and take him down, while holding the ball with Green.
So it looks like a jumpball and a foul happening at the same time.

The only way to the avoid the foul . . .would have been to let the ball go right?
