Playing hard only gets you so far... Heat lack superstar talent ... Jimmy is a great no.2

If he does he'd look stupid... That team and culture fits him perfectly... Even if they get another star, he'd have to bow down to Jimmy ... He'd be stupid to leave

What do they mean by “current playoff format since 1984”? First round was Best of 5 until 2003.

the Heat were swept in 2007, after winning. And Dallas was swept in 2012 (lockout year), after winning.

What’s the deal with Herro? Is he hurt or was last year in the bubble just a fluke?

Eight-team playoff format started in 1984. They should've meant "Finals loser" in that tweet.

He lived long enough to become the villain. Batman jokes aside, Tatum offers his own opinion:

all this attacking of Tyler Herro...he’s a 2nd year player that has shown flashes...it’s not his fault the Miami fanbase is dumb and delusional and the FO miscalculated how important “Heat culture” really was to winning since at the end of the day, u need talent, and talent like Harden doesn’t grow on trees or become available very often

not every young player can come in and excel in a role for a team that’s trying to compete

in Houston, he’d probably average something like 17, 5, and 5 just because of the shots and opportunity that’s available, and there’s no pressure because all the games were meaningless

this regular season he averaged 15, 5, and 3 on 44/36/80 shooting splits and 54% TS in his 2nd season, and people on here act like that’s scrub play while hyping up every young player on the team playing in meaningless games collecting L after L

Too much partying and idolizing Chandler Parsons.

He is a young millionaire who went from Milwaukee to Miami. Probably neck deep in alcohol and hoes all night every night.

54% TS is bad bro. Remember he is playing in the LEAST they have like 5 good teams and then the rest are trash. That would prob be 45% TS or lower in the west.

More importantly people are trashing him cuz he lost that dog mentality he had in the bubble. He bought into his own hype and started partying too much.

54% TS is just slightly below average...bad is what John Wall and Westbrook routinely produce where they are 4 or 5% below league average

lol, u can’t just pluck a TS% out your ass that’s 9 whole percentage points lower

yeah, I get that, but at 3-0, MIA is already swept in pre-2003 best of 5 format...that's what i meant.

Lol WB is a career 53% TS so what does that say about Herro? He is a spot up shooter but his efficiency is just 1% better than WB, I think thats pretty bad.

Herro's TS% can def tank cuz he is playing in a weak conference and is a role player in the East. If he was the star prospect in a team out West it could def be bad.

    Jrue Holiday NOP: 53% TS
    Jrue Holiday MIL: 59% TS

Take note Herro is a much worse player than Jrue and Heat have complete set of shooters and spacers in Jimmy B and DRobinson.

Btw Giannis got called overrated so much he is now underrated lol.

Dude may not have skill but what he does have is enough to make him Lebron's heir apparent imo in terms of just being the single most dominant player in the game. Bucks are basically him and a bunch of role players and he is making it work. Jrue is like his 2nd best player and that dude was just an above ave starter in the West.

All i know is that a portion of the forum were right to deem that Herro is fool's gold. It's a lot easier to look good when you are shooting in an empty court.
No one expected any player in a Harden trade to be a straight 1 to 1 value, but Herro isn't a superstar or a player that can carry a team. Hell he's basically fading right now in playoffs. I am just glad our "front office" didn't get suckered into trading for Herro.
