Ben and Barnes. Two guys built very different.

    Ouch!

That is not talked about enough.

Can you imagine Brown on that team?

Not just Ingram and Brown. Siakam, Sabonis, Brogdon and Dejounte Murray were all in this draft, too.

Embiid and Brown would have been a scary duo.

    Spot on.

I thought it was Harden who was stopping this beautiful ball movement that Nash was trying to implement.

It depends on what happens with Kyrie this summer.

    1) Let's say he opts in on the final year of his deal. If so, then yes, I think the Nets blow it up after next season if they flame out in the first or second round again.
    2) If he opts out of the final year and signs elsewhere, the Nets may go ahead and blow it up THIS summer. Durant ain't gonna want to stick around and carry the team all year at age 34.
    3) If he opts out of the final year and gets a 5-year extension with Brooklyn, then the Nets probably stick with this core a few more seasons. I don't see a title anywhere in their future, but they'll at least be in the playoffs every year barring injuries.

Heck, I don't like Smith and I found myself muttering, "Right on."

Rafael Stone knew what he was doing. Thank you, sir. Gotta be the happiest guy out there watching all of this.
