I still can't believe how badly the Bucks choked there. It's not like I care for either team - I am glad that the Bucks are out because they are annoying with the way Giannis barrels into people; however, I am not the biggest fan of the Heat either. Yet, you do have to give mad props to Jimmy Butler.
Miami Regular season Offense : 25th 3FG% : 27th(34.4%) Playoffs Offense : 2nd 3FG% : 1st(45.0%) Outlier? Why/how do you suck on offense for 82 games and then decide to turn into the prime Warriors for the first 5 games of the playoffs?
This doesn't really count, the Heat were a 7th seed. It'd be notable if a 9th or 10th seed won in the first round.
Well this comes with the territory. that's just the way it is. You want to be regarded as a great player, the expectations must go along with it. So yeah the season was definitely a failure in terms of reaching the one actual goal that the team is put together for. The bucks are some team in the midst of a rebuild. They're not some team looking to get experience in the playoffs for the first time. They're not some middle of the pack team. Makes sense to be frustrated in the moment but Giannis shouldn't be shocked or insulted at the end of the day
honestly, it's kinda funny he admitted they were just coasting thinking they can just waltz past the Heat. Not even the warriors do that in the playoffs, they turn it on every post season.
Giannis is subtlety throwing his coach under the bus and trying to escape any accountability. Media is falling it for hook, line, and sinker. Kevin O”Connor seriously said this shouldn’t reflect bad on his legacy…
