Oh, it's been going on for years and years. I mean, everyone has their thing, but to me, it's a really myopic way of looking at things. I mean, we all do it on occasion (e.g. "Why do we have the injury curse?"), but we're talking about SO MANY times from him I finally had to say, "Why do you always do this?????" a few years back. I am actually very surprised he was not extremely upset about last year's Finals. I would have guessed it would have gone something like: "Unbelievable. This had the makings of basketball perfection. The team with the best regular-season record in NBA history goes on to win the championship, beating LeBron and thus becoming the greatest team ever to play the game. It's horrible how the basketball gods ruined that perfect achievement." But I think it applies to the teams he likes- just like how we do it to the Rockets... you know, "Why us????"
