I'll keep doubting the Hawks. Just hard to believe a 22 year old leading his team to the finals. I think the Bucks have the defense to slow them down and they'll be able to play big this series...but at this point if the Hawks make it to the finals I wouldn't be shocked. Trey needs to do something with his hair man...
At this point, I am rooting for narrrative arcs, so I want to see Giannis continue his with a trip to the Finals against Chris Paul and see what happens.
Some matchups: Jrue on Trae - One regular season meeting, Jrue did good on Trae. With the series, how's the ref going to call it. Will Trae get jrue in foul trouble, or is Jrue going to lock him up. On the opposite end, Jrue can post up smaller guards and make Trae work. PJ - is Bud still going to start PJ since no KD., or is Pat Connaughton coming in. If PJ is in, Trae theoretically can hide by defending PJ. Is Bucks going to hunt Trae. Can Nate hide him. Heurter - continue his hot shooting. No Seth curry to abuse. Bigs v Bigs - Bucks size: Middleton (6'7"), Giannis and Lopez, but Hawks can go somewhat big as well. Gallo/Collins/Capela. Bryn Forbes unplayable. Hawks hack-a-Giannis late game if close. Both coaches don't play short rotations, but if one team gets desperate enough, one might.
I doubt very much if anybody who's not from Cleveland - and even most people who are - was thrilled about going to Cleveland for five straight years.
Atlanta is a much bigger more dynamic market than Milwaukee. There's global entrepreneurship in Atlanta. I wonder if the officiating will reflect these aspects?
cmon now, how they not already for real.. didnt they beat the real MVP(if not for missed games) the hardest player to guard in the previous round?
