as great as the heat's run has been and i'm pulling for them to beat boston. anyone else feel they'll either get swept or lose 4-1 to the lakers if they make it to the big dance?

if Bam dislocated his shoulder tonight it’ll be a clean sweep for LA. Reports haven’t came out yet but it looked like a dislocated shoulder or elbow

Great read and I'm impressed how he's managed to succeed in the NBA after being the 4th option on that Mo Wagner UMich team. I wish we had that same level of development. I remember going to a G-League game 2 years ago against the Lakers G-League team and Alex Caruso was lighting it up on the floor, (as was Danuel House), but he was still the distant 2nd best player behind Isiah Hartenstein (yeah I'm still salty we waived him).

While Herro was the “star” of the game the Heats 4 main guys I thought were all good. Anytime any of them had the ball I at least thought they’d make a smart play even if they didn’t score. Then their 5th guy was Iggy - same thing even though you knew he wasn’t scoring.

meanwhile on Boston’s end the only guy I thought wanted the ball was Tatum. Everyone else seemed to be forcing it a bit. It was kind of mindless running around or iso with Tatum. It wasn’t clear their was an “offense” being run.

sure Miami lucked into one dude being on fire so maybe that’s the difference in an offense that looks good or doesn’t.... but the lay seems to have a plan each time down the court, be it Herro or Dragic off screens, using Ban as a picker multiple times until he ended up with a size advantage down low, or posting up Butler

Absolutely not. Miami has three different players they can throw at LeBron: Iguodala, Butler and Jae Crowder. Then, provided Adebayo is healthy, he’s strong and athletic enough to reasonably match up with Davis. The Heat are capable of beating either the Lakers or the Nuggets in the finals if they keep playing like they have all postseason.

    For the record . . . I don't like Kelly Olynyk
I think he is a dirty player after what he did to Kevin Love.

I like Kemba. The challenge of Kemba defending Butler. Looks like Kemba flopped. :p

He did throw the head back and tried to sell it
but Butler feet slid and he initiated the contact

Imagine some rookie torching you last game to the tune of 37 points, and an undrafted player who started out in Division III college ball torching you for 17 (so far).

Like, who the hell are these guys?
