I wish I was a Miami Heat fan. This is a team of destiny. (but I expect a gentleman sweep by the Nuggets in the Finals)
I don't know how anyone can watch this series and still want to trade for Jaylen Brown. That guy is a quitter
[Windhorst] “I can no longer say that I don't think it's possible that [the Celtics] would make a change [at head coach].”
Jimmy Butler and the Heat are Eastern Conference playoff terrors--if they beat the Nuggets, I'll upgrade them to generalized playoff terrors. But for real, they're the monster stalking the nightmares of Eastern Conference playoff teams. Imagine if they had beaten the Hawks in the first play-in game--Boston would have been out in the first round and Milwaukee almost certainly wouldn't have been. Wonder how that reality ends up playing out.
I still think Denver is favored should that indeed be the Finals matchup. They are firing on all cylinders and their talent level is insane when Murray is healthy and on fire like he has been. But if anyone is going to prove me wrong it's Jimmy "Freaking" Butler, so we'll see. Should be a fun series one way or another.
I would not disagree. I point to the 1st one because no one gave us a chance We had no clear cut SECOND BEST PLAYER on the squad Hakeem was just AMAZING Rocket River
Here is what I DID NOT Expect from the Nuggets. . . .THEY BULLIED THE LAKERS I did not think Jocic had that Bully in him. He ran over AD and the Lakers when necessary I think the Heat are Bullies too . . . no Soft Finesse Teams made it Philly and Celts were a bit too finesse . ... While it may work in the Regular Season . . . when the Officials are more leinient . .. . . Rocket River
Bam and Zeller are the only guys in Miami's rotation that are not either older than 33 or undrafted. Amazing.
MIA going far bodes well for Quinn's head coach interview with teams like the Raptors. Despite being goofy looking, he technically is from the Spo tree.
