    You get the feeling (at least I do) that the Celtics think they can just turn it on whenever and just show up because they are the Celtics. Seeing them crater in their own hubris is simultaneously awesome and sad.

    This just in - sauces tell me that Joe Mazzulla will be fired before Game 4 of the ECF. The Celtics are leaning towards Stephen Silas as interim coach as they feel he has great experience in coaching a team where the players quit on him.

    The Celtics opened a huge can of quit. Talk about "checking out." But give the Heat their due: they are feisty. They just keep coming, and their three point barrage was something to see. Nothing but net.....from the parking lot!

    So I teach math at a JUCO and although we don’t teach a logic course, we do talk about truth tables and deductive reasoning along with inductive reasoning in the math course that is required for Liberal Arts majors to take. So check it out - if the Heat were playing the 76ers in the ECF (the same bunch that quit in Game 7) instead of the Celtics, I think Miami would have won tonight by at least 50. It would be such a beat down that the 76ers don’t even show up (literally) for Game 4. They just tell Silver uncle and we move on to the Finals.
