the officials make a bad travel call on biyombo so they ignore a flagrant foul that they then have to review and call anyway. just don't make the initial bad travel call.

and i agree, it should just be an offensive foul at worst. just like love's flagrant against patterson earlier in the series.

wait a minute. Biyombo gets a flagrant for that and will be suspended for game 7 now? I don't understand why Draymond wouldn't be suspended for all the **** he's pulled if thats all it takes. WOW.

Offensive foul at worst. It's a basketball move.

Similarly, Tristan's elbow to Lowry is legit. I hate when smalls pester bigs, but when bigs pivot the small is automatically hit in the face by an elbow because of the height difference and it's called a foul. It's not the big's fault that the small is overly aggressive and at elbow level.

It was an offensive foul, but maybe the only think you can call is flagrant? Can normal fouls be reviewed?

That's nothing, too. Richard Jefferson is so sensitive. A big is securing the rebound. He's clearing the reach in fouls. That's all it is.

and like jvg has said, how do you take away the bucket on the biyombo elbow? i know javie said the rules say you can, but that seems ridiculous to retroactively change a call when you can't do that on any other call.

Adam Silver is gonna take some heat for this if Biyombo is suspended. That's no more than a common foul for Draymond Green.

I'm sure that comment was made when Lowry was shooting near 36% few games ago, but it doesn't matter since Harden at his worst was still way more efficient scorer in the playoffs.

    2015 Lowry TS 39.6%
    2016 Lowry TS 49.5%

    2013 Harden TS 54.8%
    2014 Harden TS 51.9%
    2016 Harden TS 55.5%

This is even not mentioning 2015 Harden with TS 62% or 2010 Harden with TS 60.5% or 2011 Harden with TS 63.4%. Harden has his share of ups and downs, but certainly not as much as Lowry.

On the other hand, Lowry's best playoff performance efficiency wise was in 2014, when he averaged 56.7 True Shooting Percentage. Not bad, but if Harden scored with that kind of efficiency, it would be considered below average for his standard (Harden's average playoff TS% is 59%)

lol, biyombo elbows love so the refs call every ticky tack foul they can find on cleveland to start the quarter. ridiculous.

Exactly, a bunch of touch fouls on cavs as makeup calls now. Sometimes it's hard to tell if these refs are just incompetent or have an implicit agenda or both. Either way, it's ridiculous.

Poorly refereed game so far. No consistency, hard to tell where the line is on every play now.

that derozan shot seems like the 5th or 6th good bounce the raptors have already gotten on a jumper. combined with the calls they're getting and the fact cleveland has forgotten to run an offense for about 5 minutes now, it's good for cleveland that they are up 6.

yeah, i meant more that the recent streak, mostly the second quarter, has pretty much been all raptors. but the refs have turned it into a frazzled game where everyone wants a makeup call for 5 other calls that were missed against them.

just like there. lebron goaltends it with no call but no one touches anybody and they call another foul.
