Love it when The Celtics lose. Love it even more when The Lakers do.

    Lets hope both happens.

Celtics are going to win the series book it....

Ray Allen isn't going to have garbage nights like those every night, I thought he proved that in the Bulls series.

    This game supported two ideas:

1 The Magic don't have the personality of a championship team. Allowing a 28-point lead in the 2nd half to evaporate is inexcusable. They were practically begging the Celtics to come back and win the game the entire 4th quarter. It was a total choke job. They are lucky the Celts also kept turning the ball over and missing open shots until 2 minutes were left.

2 The Celtics just don't have enough in them to be taken seriously. Falling behind by 28 was one thing, but when they cut it to single-digits midway in the 4th, they couldn't close the sale despite the Magic choking on their own tongue.

Rashard Lewis should be ashamed of himself for not being able to abuse Scalabrine one-on-one. I think he missed 9 straight shots in the last 5-6 minutes of the game. Rafer and Anthony Johnson were barely able to bring the ball upcourt and maintain possession against Rondo once he started pressuring them. For about 8 straight minutes the Magic weren't able to get off one decent mid-range or close-in shot. They dribbled the clock down and ended up settling for long jumpers (if they didn't turn the ball over first).

The Magic will win this series. Too much talent. If the Celts don't come out strong Wednesday, they may as well start selling Cavs/Magic ECFs tickets early.

I seem to recall the 1994 Rockets choking up a pretty big lead 4th quarter lead to Phoenix too... they managed to have the personality of a championship team. :)

Good point, but the 1994 Rockets had a toughness this Magic team doesn't have. Also, the Phoenix team that came back on the Rockets was way better than this weakened shell of a Celtics squad that was lucky to beat the Bulls.

They need to give him the ball, they only seem to go to Howard early in the game and when they really need a basket, man Yao and Howard need to share their feelings about lack of touches with a psychiatrist, its quite disheartening.

Yao and Howard have a lot in common regarding referees and their teammates.

I hate the way the Magic play. Too many damn three pointers. Dwight Howard is underutilized in that offense.

D Ho is kinda a stiff. Kendrick Perkins has better offensive game than D Ho.

I wouldn't say that, Perkins has a better touch than Howard though. There's only one idiot in the world who thinks Howard has a nice touch and that's Tim Legler.

JJ redick thinks he back at Duke :D

He's been large in the last three games and Rafer is backing to brick mode, if it wasn't for that miraculous teardrop over Perkins, he'd be 0-6 right now.

The Magic played the 1st quarter like a bunch of sissies, picking up from where they left off last game. You know something is weird when Rafer is the only guy on their team with enough courage/effort/[name whatever it is] to attack the basket. All the other players besides Howard want to do is sit back and shoot 3s. The Celtics offense completely broke down when PP went out with his 2nd foul and the Magic should have made a big run to take a good lead.

Howard was unhappy when they interviewed him after game 1 because of the way the Magic played the final 15 minutes. Looks like nobody on their team learned anything.
