You guys are underestimating the Celtics. They still have 2 big time ballers in Pierce and Allen. These guys can both create their own shots and put up huge numbers. I think Perkins will be able to do a decent job on D.Howard.

The Magic don't really have a go-to-guy. Hedo and R.Lewis are far too inconsistent. I expect Paul Pierce to step up big time in this series and will the Celtics to victory.

    Boston in 7.

With DH in the middle, the Celtics can't abuse the offensive board like they did against the Bulls.

Do you make it over people who are 6' 8" and have a vertical reach up to 11'?

    Rondo is a great player.

He's also an absolutely horrible shooter most of the time.

The fact that he's able to fake so many people out with he pump fake or his driving layup fake is a true testament to his speed/skill or the defenders lack of ability to think quick.

It's like he holds gets up in the air and is like "I'm gonna shoot it, no really, I'm gonna shoot it, here's my layup..." the defender finally commits, and then bam Rondo is like "haha, I'm passing it for a layup."

The Magic missed some easy baskets, ow it should be a 20+ pts lead.

he's a very good player. but most of his points v. chicago were in transition and derrick rose was atrocious defensively for most of the series.

rafer, like him or not, is a very good defender and rondo, with his lack of a J, is struggling mightily b/c howard is manning the paint.

I gave the Celts almost no chance to win this series without an injury to one of the Magic players. but no way I expected that kind of 1st half.

Agreed. The presence of a shotblocker that was missing from Chicago's frontline has seriously deterred Rondo from driving the lanes and finishing. I wasn't the only one who saw Rondo air-ball a teardrop, was I?

At least Rafer bricks them. :)

This game? Maybe. The series, forget about it. If the Magic have any killer instinct, they will crush the Celts in the 2nd half because they are just better.
