Why do I feel that the Magic are choking again, up 14 in the 4th and now making it a ball game again.

you know i'd say the magic are ignoring howard if i thought howard would do anything besides throw up an ugly hook shot.

in fact, howard should wear a device that gives him an electical shock every time he takes a left-handed hook shot. do it until he stops shooting them or learns another damn move. he never seems to have great control of the ball as he's going up for a hook and it makes it so hard to go to him in big moments when he's so inconsistent. i know he averages 20/14 and puts up 35/20 games some times, but when big baby is posting you up better than you can post him up, it's hard to call you great or put you in mvp conversations (though he is just a beast on the boards). granted, yao can be taken out of a game by brandon bass, but that at least involves doubles that get others open. they don't even have to double dwight.


marbury and davis have scored every celtics point this quarter and the magic are getting schooled by them. that would be a painful way to lose a game you've led all the way.

 

and why can't the magic make an open 3 against boston? lewis just airballed a straight-away 3, the easiest 3 there is.

 

Boston has the heart of a champion, great defense when they feel like it and can score in bunches as well.

14 pt lead with 7 minutes to go and they allow Marbury to abuse them.

Then they can't hit a friggin shot.

so marbury goes crazy and big baby makes a couple of hooks he normally wouldn't and get pierce and allen off the hook again for not playing great. orlando handles 4th quarters worse than the rockets.
