My favorite stat of this series is that in the double OT game Sunday, Marbury was on the court for 5 (five) minutes and his +/- rating was MINUS 17. I did not believe that was possible in such a close game so I checked out the play-by-play and it was correct.
Rondo is a damn punk. I hope the Bulls shock the Celtics and beat them on their court... and for good measure, I hope Hinrich gives him a taste of his own medicine. I normally don't wish ill upon anyone, but what does the guy have to do to get reprimanded?
Who knows. So far he's playing in game 7. Ol' Stern always finds some way of ****ing things up, much like Selig.
Rondo is confirmed out for Game 7 http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/news;_y...mxMEF?slug=ap-celtics-rondo&prov=ap&type=lgns Stern was pretty much forced to do this without rondo game 7 would have been a blowout, even though Rondo probably deserved a suspension
that links says that nothing is going to be done with him meaning he will play and that just sickens me that the league is just turning a blind eye towards all of this
Rondo IS playing in game 7. Am I the only one who's a little annoyed with all the attention and TV ratings this series is getting because of the "overtime" factor? As a long-time fan of basketball this series hasn't exactly been epic and the only reason it's been close is because of Chicago's inability to close out games and combine exceptionally stupid mistakes after hitting big shots. It's basically two mediocre teams taking swings at each other... the people harping on the "greatness" of the series are the same people who find college basketball more interesting than the NBA because they are more interested in the passion shown by the players than the game itself.
I think you're on your own here, buddy. I know most basketball fans are eating this up. There have been many clutch plays in incredibly intense moments.
The whole Celtics is a punk team. PP, KG, and RA are all very talented players, but I never like their attitude, that fake tough guys macho stuff, especially RA. Just like how Reggie Miller defended Allen so strongly about his elbow to Valerjo(sp?)'s groin. I was laughing, yeah, Miller and Allen are exact same type wannabe tough guys who throw sucker punch and cheap shots, and then whine to teachers in kindergarten. When you look at Ron, and then look at the Celtic team, you know what really tough guy or gangster is about, what fake ones are.
the celtics favoritism by the higher ups is slightly irritating im hoping for a chicago win even though they're going to get stomped next round
I think it will be close, Chicago will take a late lead, but blow it to Boston in the closing minutes. However, the Bulls stage a late rally and win 103-101 in the closing seconds. I'm really looking forward to this game tonight.
