It's only the first half of game 1, but it should be clear now why the Celts are not a championship (or Finals) contender. Of course PP and Ray Allen won't blow chunks all the time, but their team just isn't up to snuff without KG. I'm not sure the Bulls have the composure to close this game out. I expect PP to shoot 15 FTs in the 2nd half and to carry the Celts on his back. The Celts won't go down without a nasty fight.
don't get too excited. remember when denver was up 1-0 against SA...then they got whooped 4-1? or how houston was up 2-0 on the road...then ya..u know the rest it's not over till it's over.
15-20 FT sounds about right for Pierce, with his little pumpfake, head snapping backwards manuever he does almost everytime in the 4th quarter.
Bulls actually have some matchups in their favor. At 4/5, they have length and quickness. You can see as Noah have 8/10 in 1st half. At 1, Rose over Rondo is obvious. At 2, Gordon vs Allen is a toss-up. The ONLY favorable matchup for the Celtics is at 3, Salmons vs Pierce. This series will go to distance. I pick Bulls in 6.
