pierce choked at the line; ray ray chickened out. no kg in sight any time soon. doesn't look too good for the defending champs. and since chi already have a great pg in rose, why do they still need hinrich? can we have him for cheap?
Ok, but Rose still is not a good defender at this stage of his career. Just seems like a strange decision, considering the situation.
yup, the home team was got many favors from the refs. hope it's not the case tonight when we play portland.
huh? when has tmac ever played like total garbage in a playoff game? much less in a bunch of them like allen has the last 2 years.
it would be kind of weird if the bulls last 2 playoff appearances involved knocking off the defending champ in the first round. i still say boston wins, but a young, athletic bulls team against a beat up miami is how it happened last time.
Ray may not shoot 1-11 but Perkins won't be hitting the shots he hit today. Doubt Rondo will be scoring as much as he did today, same could be said for Rose though. Gordon and Salmon should play better. So with all that said you can't go by you think so and so will shot whatever again.
No. T-Mac always went out swinging in the playoffs. His playoff numbers are extremely impressive and I don't recall him ever having a 1-11 type game.
That shows your a bangwagon T-Mac hater, T-Mac always had great numbers in the playoffs, I mean 4th PPG in the playoffs all time??
He may not totally embarrass himself with 1/12 again but based on last season in the 1st round, the Celts should be concerned. He should get another chance in game 2 to redeem himself, but if he stinks it up again, he shouldn't get 39 minutes in game 3. I wonder what his problem is. I'll throw this back at you: Do you think Rondo will go 29/9/7 again? Do you think Perkins will do 14/8 again? Probably not.
Actually you can. If Ray shoots 45%, there's way less pressure on other guys to shoot. If Rose doesn't shoot 45%, the Bulls are sunk.
Incredible game, incredible rookie player in Derrick Rose, rookie of the year for sure did anyone see the replay of pierce's last free throw? that has to be probably the toughest way to lose a game
Haha the self-appointed "greatest player in the world" Paul Pierce chokes the game by missing a GW free throw in regulation.
It is not like everybody for the Bulls played lights out the whole game. The Celtics should be concerned.
