once allen chickened out and didn't go for the 3 like boston has done all season, i knew he was scared and would probably miss it. boston doesn't play well scared. they play well when they're cocky. allen is losing his mojo like against atlanta last year.
Great game. It was a privilege getting to see the Rose vs. Rondo battle today. It's a shame for Boston's sake that Ray Allen laid such an egg.
it's always so weird to see how quiet and humble rose is. for some reason i had him pegged as an arrogant player coming into the league but he couldn't be farther on the other end of the spectrum. answers questions with as few words as possible, says "no ma'am" and things like that.
You know, the first time I was going to pick this series, my first instinct said Bulls in 7. Then my head was like, "stop kidding yourself" and I went Boston in six. Maybe my instincts weren't so wrong after all.
The Chicago Bulls: Where AMAZING really does happen. What a classic game. I don't think I've watched a full game not involving the Rockets all season. I'm so glad I watched this one.
Totall opposite of Beasley, who is cocky as hell. Glad the Bulls picked em or else the Heat would've been MUCH better. Picture a backcourt of Rose & Wade, now that is crazy.
Great win by Chicago. But I have to ask: why was Derek Rose on the floor in the final defensive possession when he had 5 fouls? It's not like he's a great defender. Put someone else in there to guard Rondo.
Wow Derrick Rose was amazing. It's going to be insane what he'll turn into with a couple of years of experience.
So, down by two points, 10 seconds left.... and you go to the guy who's 1 for 11. Yeah, great job, Doc. Now we get to laugh at you.
First of all, its Derrick! Second, he was on the floor, because absolutely no one expected Rondo to handle the ball. Pierce is the be-all, end-all of a Celtic possesion, when KG isn't in the game.
