You bet it is, but then again I don't get paid millions to play basketball. Pay me the same amount and I'll play with a broken arm.
Again, it's so easy to say that. You should realize that playing basketball isn't some casual activity like it may be for you and me. This is his livelihood. He doesn't want to come back and possibly have a setback to that knee, because of the impact it might have on his career.
First of all you wouldn't... Second of all...he's not about to risk further injury in his career A) if he doesn't feel confident in his knee and B) to play in a year where the Bulls are clearly broken down and not going to be competitive
And the Doctors cleared him in early Feb. You must know ZERO about ACL injuries because returning this year was PART OF HIS REHAB. He is dunking on teammates.....crossing over guys left and damn right. But he is not 'ready' to return. Not with 15 games left in the regular season......10 games......5 games......and now. He hurt his knee over a year ago. He is fine......his knee is ready but his stupid head is not. No excuses. You can kick the piss out your teammates in practice since early March........NO. EXCUSES. If AP can come back and get back from the same injury in less than 6 months an rape the NFL......Derrick has no excuses. None.
to be fair, AP is human. but if rose wanted to play he could play even limited minutes. he basically quit on his team. i'm sure the opinion would be different if someone like melo or lebron did this because they aren't the golden boys in the league.
this is why you play defense...it will always give you a chance to win games. Refreshing to see although some of it is the inept Nets/Bulls offense.
I doubt very much the Bulls can win both games in Chicago unless the Nets fall apart. D-Will going 1/9 seems almost impossible.
