JJ lost me last year in the Lakers series. Every big 3 pt shot has JJ in the background 10 ft from his man, raising his hand after the ball's already in the air. The man plays perimeter D like he's on the Mavericks, Kings, or Suns. HEY, What a coincidence?!?!

Bottomline: The reason Jackson wears out his welcome is that once he's comfortable with, he doesn't accept his place as a ROLE player.

Sidenote: To be honest, that's really the problem some people are having with the Sura/Yao debate. It IS an issue, but right now Sura is doing so many positive things that outweigh that negative. JJ would still be here if he put out 1/2 the effort Sura does every night.

I'm not sure why everyone is saying that JJ is tougher than Wesley, I think this is completely incorrect. Wesley is not only quicker he is stronger and "tougher".

Strength on the court is always relative to the person you play against. Wesley guards 1's and 2's and is built like a brick. He is quick enough to stay with his man and strong enough to keep him away from the hoop.

JJ on the other hand was not quick enough to guard 2's which is the position he should be guarding and would have a strength advantage at. Instead he had to guard threes that were typically bigger, stronger, and quicker than him. Mental toughness is another thing that JJ lacked as displayed by his childlike actions when he was traded.

JJ is not the defender that Wesley is because he really isn't suited physically to guard anybody except old short 3's. While Wesley on the other hand is perfectly suited to guard 1's and 2's and is not going to get pushed around by either which in my mind makes him pretty "tough".

JJ is not "tougher" than Wesley.

JJ is a ballhog in disguise, I have no problem getting Wesley for him. But losing Nachbar is the thing might hurt Rockets in a long run. Boki has made 14 of his last 16 3 pointer attempts, averge 13pts, 4rbs and 21 minutes in his last 5 games. Sounds like a solid player, huh?

I had to check your facts, guys can't make 14/16 FTs let alone 14/16 3s. You are correct, Boki is on fire. I still don't think that Boki has game and its still too early to tell because anyone can get a hot streak. But, I am glad for Boki if he succeeds in NO because he wasn't getting the opportunity in Houston.

Yep. That's the only thing I had against this trade. I mean, JJ for Wes.....I'll do that any day. But the JJ and Boki for wes. Now that one really made me upset about it.

I like what Wes has done for this team. And I am not saying we aren't better with him. But I was kind of stumped how we traded one of our younger guys for yet another OLD guy. I know it's not like Boki ever really got a chance here. But still. I am happy he can now get playing time and show the player he is.

I don't know if it's just a "hot streak", but perhaps more that he is now getting comfortable on the court. He has been handed a chance to show what he can do now, on a regular basis.

Good Luck Boki! KEEP IT UP!
