He beat the shell of the Old Celtics team just to play against a newer, younger version of the Celts Defense.

poor bosh, even when he has a monster game, he wont get any attention, due everyone wanting to talk about Wade and lebrons poor performance, the Heats lost and the Bulls amazing performance.

well, that boozer shotclock violation certainly didn't matter. always better to lose a playoff game when playing badly and just move on rather than when playing well and second guessing why you couldn't win. nothing more could have gone right for chicago (lol, 10 3's after 10 3's in the last 3 games combined), nothing more could have gone wrong for miami. now miami gets 3 days to think about it and come out and play better.

miami's opponents shot 34.5% on 3's this season. they are shooting an incredible 43.3% (81-187) in the playoffs. at some point you'd think the law of averages would kick in. but apparently the law of averages was just the bulls coming back from their horrid shooting.

The Bigs they have outside of Bosh are trash compared to what Chicago has. Thats why I feel this isn't so much a 'Heat were partying and didn't show up' and more of a 'The Bulls are just a bigger team with more overall talent' thing.

outside of the magloire move, that lineup was fine. it just sucks when your 2 best players can't do anything on offense and look like they're sleepwalking.

you give up the rebounding, but you have to punish them offensively.

the offensive rebounds won't change much.

Good defense leads into good offense.

I thought the most telling thing was how D-Rose was able to get a nice long rest late3rd/early 4th quarter while Lebron and Wade had to play every minute. Those guys were gassed it seemed like, especially Wade. Chicago's depth, especially frontcourt, is huge, as well as their awesome Thibodeux team defense.

Gibson and Asik are going to be key in this series, Miami can't go big against these guys and Spo knows it. Wade/James will need to form Voltron for them to counter Chicago's height.

i never said there bigs are better but it gives you a better chance.

bosh can't out rebound noah, at least joel gives you energy and hustle.

playing magloire was a terrible move. dampier gives you a better chance than magloire

definitely. if you don't show up vs a thibs-coached team, you're going to get embarrassed.

the bulls won all the effort stat (in blow-out fashion)
+12 on the boards (+13 on the offensive boards)
    +9 on turnovers

it's a given the bulls will win the rebounding battle, but in blowout fashion like this? let's be real now.

but another common theme franciz4prez brought up, heat opponents do NOT MISS from 3s in the playoffs. they are shooting lights out. the bulls shot 10-20 tonight from 3s. these guys have to miss at least ONE GAME right?
