Heat are the favorites. They're too battle tested in the playoffs and top heavy. Bulls have depth on their side. I predicted Heat in 6.

They have a habit of doing that during the course of the game. It's habitual for them and they aren't suddenly going to turn on the switch get rid of it.

They have more depth despite that. I think that will make a difference.

Respectfully disagree unless the Bulls and Heat go 7 and the Mavericks sweep whoever they play in the WCF.

I would love to see a Bulls and Thunder (or even Grizzlies) NBA Finals. The Mavericks and Heat rematch of '06 (wasn't it '06 that they played) would be my least desirable one to see.

My "x-factor" for the series will be Ronnie Brewer and his D on Wade and opposing guards.

the mavs at their best can beat either team. they have great defense, a superstar scorer, and ridiculous offensive/defense depth.

    it'll be heat vs mavs

when you have lebron playing 42+ mins and wade playing 40+ minutes, depth isn't a concern. and chicago's depth is more defense, not offense.

I know you are right I just don't want have my mind think about that possibility actually happening. Obviously, being Rocket fans, it would majorly suck to see the Mavericks finally win an NBA title but it is probably going to happen and happen sometime soon. They have been too good for too long for it not to happen. And then you have the Heat, who although are obviously good, were obnoxious, IMO, in "celebrating their championships" this past summer. To see them fail would be very satisfying to me for some reason. Meh, it's late and I don't know what else to say except I am sad that our Rockets can't be in the position that either the Mavericks or Heat are in. :(

I feel you man this time of the year really does suck when the Rockets aren't playing.

I'm not a big fan of the Heat, but I hate the Mavs with a freaking passion if they won it all I'll jump off a cliff.

I despise the heat, I like D.Rose, the Bulls defense gives them a chance, unfortunatelly, I think the Heat has too much talent, will win in seven, but I hope not, will be cheering for the Bulls.

I think in CLOSE GAMES the 1 on 1 battle goes to the HEAT.

    This should be fun.

Chicago won the season series and I can't see Miami stopping Rose (he is gonna run over that team).

    Bulls in 6.

bron vs chicago this year: 28ppg, 9rpg, 6apg on 56%fg

wade vs chicago this year: 29, 6, 4 on 47%fg

rose vs heat this year: 29, 3, 6 on 44%fg

i think the heat have a better chance of slowing rose down than the bulls have a chance to slow dose james/wade

The people choosing the bulls are choosing what they WANT to happen and not really what they THINK will happen. Heat are going to destroy them and everyone knows it.

this year chi beat heat in all of their games

    let me rephrase

    during the playoffs,
    bogans & brewer's 1-on-1 defense >> ray allen's 1-on-1 defense
    dengs' 1-on-1 defense >> paul pierce's 1-on-1 defense
