The Pacers are more than competing. They are going to give the Heat fits the rest of this series. Honestly I think the Pacers look to be the better team right now. The Pacer's size is something the Heat are struggling to deal with. The only way the Heat have a chance is if LeBron can carry them. He pulled it off in game 1, he came up short in game 2.
Was just about to say the same thing. Officiating is what it is, but if PG stayed in front of LeBron in game 1, we might not even see another game in Miami, this postseason.
Shadows of the Dallas series. Pacers are the better team, but we'll see. They need to play great like they usually do at home.
Pacers are a bad match-up for the Heat. It doesn't help that no one outside of the Heat big 3 are doing anything consistently at this point. Ray Allen and Battier are looking washed up right now.
If you are talking about better team on paper it is Miami. If you are talking about better team in general, its still Miami. Pacers have a chance to win this series, but that doesn't make them the better team. Upsets happen.
The Pacers shot really well from the field minus David West who had his worst shooting game...and Hibbert beasted in the paint...The Pacers deserved to win tonight, but had all of us guessing bc of terrible offensive possesions down the stretch... Didnt count on Lebron making 2 huge turnovers(credit to David West for both deflections) that seemingly ended the Heat's chance at a W... This series is shaping up to be really close and tight...INDY going back to one of the hardest places to play during the playoffs...Pacers have to think of taking care of home court... Wade had a nice stretch, but I think the Heat went to the well too many times having Bosh just jack 3's...i wouldve liked him to go back to the post...he was playing well inside today...
Major props to the Pacers. They won despite being their own worst enemy sometimes. If Vogel was a decent offensive coach, it would be 2-0 without question. Pacers have to stop killing themselves with worthless offensive possessions in crunch time. They remind me of OKC except they don't have KD and WB to bail them out. If the Pacers would just avoid milking the clock the last 5 minutes of games and start their offense early, these wouldn't have gone down to the wire. Why milk the clock when you are tied with 3 mins left? Makes no sense at all.
