I'll go Pistons in 6, as much as I would prefer that the Celtics win it.

I put Boston in 7. But if Chauncey looks himself in game 1 or game 2, I think it is going to be very hard for Boston (or anyone else) to beat them. The Pistons just seem the most complete team going and their isn't an individual like Lebron or Wade left who can decimate their strait up defense.

Celtics still have an aura on their homecourt, so I think it will be Celtics in 7 again. I see each team stealing a road game in another slugfest of the series. I can't imagine Allen playing any worse and Prince I think is a better matchup for Pierce than LeBron was for most of the series.

I hate Doc Rivers, if Sam doesn't get any playing time, I hope he doesn't sign with Boston next year.

We can use his leadership, mentorship, and clutch shooting .

Did you not see Sam being clutch in game 1 and 2 Doc Rivers?

Doc goes with the hot players so Sam may get another chance. I personally would stick with Eddie House, much better defender than Sam, really liked his intensity today.

Nothing against Sam because he's old but he has no chance of staying with Chauncey at the defensive end.

After playing like a stink bomb, Doc had no choice but to sit Sam on the bench. Hopefully he finds his shot and scorches the Pistons.

    Pistons in 1.

After a really bad and humiliating loss in game 1 at home, the Celts decide to forfeit out of the playoffs for being such overrated pricks.

I think Pistons in 6. They're deceptively strong and Boston is underwhelming.

Celtics... Actually it's going to be Celtics and Lakers in Finals.. Lakers winning in 6.. but that's another story.

I don't care much for either team but this will be a hard fought series. Both are solid teams although neither team can hold a candle to the West's Lakers, Spurs, and Hornets(when they've looked good). This is basically a 3rd place matchup. The match ups will be interesting; see if SamIam can finally be a factor again, whether Billups can play like the best player in the series, of course ray vs rip, if tayshaun can neutralize paul pierce, and how kg adjusts to sheed's versatility and range. It'll be very interesting.

I think the X-factors are Billups and Ray Allen. If Ray can outplay Rip, Celtics will probably win. If Billups plays out of his mind, Detroit might pull the upset.

billups will kill their pgs. sam cassel? eddie house? rondo? billups would just post them up all day.

also, i'd like to see rasheed vs garnet. it'd be fun to watch to see them go at it against each other.

only way boston wins if... ray allen and sam cassel steps up.

    billups is overrated,
their best players are rasheed and prince.

KG vs Rasheed is the key matchup.

I'm just sick of watching the Pistons all the time and a Pistons-Cavs series would have made me gag.

    Celtics in 6.

    Celtics in 7.

Everyone can critize the Celtics for not winning on the road but the bottom line is simple, they don't need to win on the road. If the Celtics win all their home games, they've won it all. But relying on your home court form is not really great going into the Conference finals and the NBA finals.

    I voted Pistons in 7.

But I should say Pistons on 6. I believe Detroit will win one in Boston.

i think if any team, the pistons can capitalize on the celtics weaknesses which were exposed by a choking lebron that managed to force a game 7.

To win 65 or so games and not be able to win ONE freaking game on the road in the playoffs is beyond bad. The Pistons will do what the Hawks and Cavs couldn't do and that is win a game in Boston. Detroit in 6.
