Milwaukee playing 4 guys on the floor all over 6'8" at the same time is insane, you pretty much have to accept that you're going to get outrebounded

Harden is the point guard. Imagine if he had another player that could score 30

It's not even analytics. It's just simple math.

LeBum should not have skipped college.

    He could have used Pre-Algebra.

There is definitely a bias against the Rockets and Harden though.

I've never seen so many people delighted in our losing. When you have Lebron kicking our corpse it really makes you wonder what this organization did to anyone other than actually try to compete with the best team in the NBA and generate some highly viewed and entertaining playoff series.

Two points from Kawhi in the 4th. Where are the "he disappeared" and "he choked" memes?

It’s damn amazing when Gianas with 24/14/6 is a bad game for him....unblievable. Wish he was on the rox, a harden and freak pnr would be deadly

I think the underlying issue is Nerds vs. Jocks.

You have guys like Morey trying to revolutionize the game of basketball with analytics.

Meanwhile, a lot of former players are now in the sports media as analysts and struggle daily to provide any real insight on the evolution of the game. They don't want to feel left behind so naturally they latch onto "old school" ideas like playing the right way or the beautiful game.

In reality, everything Morey has been doing is being copycatted around the league.

Look at the Bucks. They have a single superstar with a limited skillset who is also a poor outside shooter.

    So what do they do?

Budenholzer surrounds Giannis with a plethora of three-point shooters and now they are all chucking away like they did tonight going 15-for-42 from 3PT.

    Sounds familiar, right?

In terms of evolution, the Bucks right now are where the Rockets were in 2016 with Harden surrounded by a bunch of three-point shooters at every position like Gordon, Lou, Ariza, Ryno, etc.

However, the Bucks are about to find out just like the Rockets did, this style has limitations especially against the Warriors who are the masters of efficient 3PT shooting.

The only saving-grace for the Bucks is that they play in the weak Eastern Conference, which affords them the oppurtunity to at least make it to the NBA Finals and keep the narrative controlled.

Otherwise if the Bucks had to play the Warriors 3 out of 4 years in the playoffs and lost every single time, the media right now would be plastering choker labels all over Giannis.

Finally, look at LeBron. It took a herculean effort in 2016 for him to even defeat the Warriors in 7 games. That is until the Warriors went out and got Durant, and permanently shut LeBron's championship window.

Now, LeBron sits comfortably in an LA studio giving criticism to the Rockets for attempting to do what he failed to do -- defeat the Durant-led Warriors?

So yeah the hatred for the Rockets and their quest to dethrone the Warriors is palpable.

But like Morey said, "When you come at the king, you best not miss." Because otherwise all the jesters and fools in court will mock you for trying.

I watched the whole game. Dude ran out of gas. Played way too many minutes and likely not used to that kind of usage as Harden.

As a Nets fan, am happy to see Brook have such a great game and playoff success. Dude is a warrior and maybe the most underrated player in the league.
