The Nets could have a major fall off.

The Raptors and Wizards are both teams that could go either way.

That screams a lot of mediocrity.

I honestly don't see the Pacers getting HCA next year.

    Cavs
    Bulls
    Raptors / Wiz
    Raptors / Wiz
    Heat / Pacers
    Heat / Pacers

is how I see the top 5 EC teams.

How can people be overrating the West based on last year? Over the last 15 years, the West has had a much better inter-conference record like 12 of them, but last year was the most lopsided ever. It was like 300 to 150 or something like that. If there were no skewed schedules and every team played each other evenly, the end of the season playoffs of the top 16 teams would have Phoenix and Minnesota in and Charlotte and Atlanta out, and the top 8 seeds for hca would all be Western (other than Miami and Indy). It's usually bad, but last season the disparity between the conferences were of epic proportions.

    Top 4 (not in order):
    Bulls
    Cavs
    Raptors
    Wizards

    5-8 (not in order):
    Heat
    Pacers
    Hawks
    Hornets

I think the Pacers will fall hard. Would not be shocked if either the Knicks or Nets slipped into the playoffs.
