Harden will never be anywhere near a prime Wade. To me prime Wade has a better all around game than Kobe. Wade is second only to MJ. The only guy out there that has the potential to be like Wade is Westbrook. I'm talking about the defense and total dedication to every facet of the game.

What a great game that was. King Kemba is one hell of a big game player, shame this is turning into another Harden bash thread though.

About time, if it takes me talking **** about him for him to play well, I'll take it lol.

Bruh, the GOAT deserves to have nothing less on his arm.

That's not luck. He's been a closer his entire career. That's what true greats do.

Even Durant is more like a Klay Thompson but with better defense... Durant would never have the kind of strength to play 'berserker basketball' like Westbrook, Wade, L. James. Never... So don't feel too bad about Harden.

Great performance from Wade, it was very entertaining to watch. but let's be honest here those 3 pointers are more luck than skill. Wade is not a good 3 point shooter and he's not going to magically become a great 3 point shooter just because it's crunch time

So you think Wade can just magically become a much better 3 point shooter during crunch time? or do you think he's missing his non-crunch time 3 pointers on purpose and only unleashing his true capability at the end of the game?

i don't know, perhaps I just think "clutch" is one of those overused sports cliches not grounded in fact or logic. I can understand how some players can be "unclutch" due to the pressure negatively impacting their performance and as a result perform much worse than usual. I just can't wrap my head around the idea that some how somebody can just suddenly become a much better 3 point shooter at the end of the game.

One thing about Steve he has bodies at the end of the bench but doesnt use him. Troy would have been a good spark as would have Lamb. Dude keeps a tight rotation. Even Hansbrough would have been decent help with how slim their big rotation is atm.

but wow wade. the guy is still good.

Just as you think players can be 'unclutch' due to the pressure negatively impacting their performance, players can be 'clutch' due to the pressure positively impacting their performance by raising their level of focus and intensity.

You dont have to be a magically better 3 pt shooter. Some guys are just shot makers. Thats not luck. Theres a difference bw shooters and shot makers. Wade has proven to be a clutch shot maker. Just bc hes not known to be some 3 pt specialist doesnt mean its luck. Hes capable of making shots in tons of ways. Those are just shots few can make especially at the end of a game. Theres absolutely no reason to doubt that from him and call it some luck. Maybe its just the lack of fully understanding someone being clutch and having the it factor in tough situations

That's not what the data suggests. If you take a look at Wade's clutch time stats, it show's his 3 point % is actually slightly worse during clutch time when compared to normal (less than 30%).
